Okay... let me start off by saying that i'm the best liar in the world. I can totally lie like a rug and because of my exraodinary ability to lie... I'm also good at picking up on other people who can lie as well as me.

i'm just sick and tired of the bullshit and the lies... and the pain that they bring.....

Soooo... last year i left my former employer in the big NYC to move to the burbs of CT. Like it here alot better. But, some of my really good friends stilll reside in the city and work there (for the same slave drivers that i used to work for)....

Soooo... I feel compelled to share the gossip. For whatever stewpid azz reason, these genetics labs ( that i work for... there are only 3 big companies .. quest, labcorp, genzyme... and several smaller companies tryin to HANG ON) have their employees sign a non competitor agreement. It basically says that you promise not to leave a lab... and go to a competitor lab ... during a umm.."grace period". SO, basically this silly ass contract says that if you want to leave the lab, you'll have to sit on your azz for several months before you can go get a new job. What a crock of BS!!!!! ... right???

SOoooo.... one of my friends from a former lab got an excellent offer from a competitor laboratory and he TOOK that shyt. I mean, he's totally justified!! he's been working for the slave drivers who refuse to promote him the the position that he deserves. He freakin RUNS a section of the laboratory... and every time he asks to be promoted to supervisor they always have some bullshit excuse as to why he doesn't deserve the title (or the pay.. !!!). ANyways, he gave his two week notice yesterday and they called him to HR... reminded him of the non competition agreement and escorted him off the premises after telling him that that intend to pursue legal actions!!!

YO... how crazy is that ? I mean, last year a supervisor left the lab and moved to a different lab. She went on to personally contact several of the top techs in an effort to recruit them. .. Yet, they didn't threaten her with legal action... i also left that company last year to go to a competitor and i received no threats.

Yeah, i remember a song by Janet jackson "got til gone" ( Don't it always seem as thought that you don't know what you've got til its gone). And that's what happened they didn't embrace this guy who's been bustin his ass... workin soo hard... and now that he's leaving they're trying to threaten him and strong arm him into staying.

.... Please!!! Who in their right mind would want to work for a company that uses intimidation to influence their employees.!!!

Okay.... things are still groovy here! Lots of things have happened recently.

We... shall start with the good things. The new man in my life is great!! I'm doing a really good job controlling my impulses... ya know, my impulse to RUN from serious relationships (ie... run away before my feelings get crushed). He's just such of a nice guy and i'm just the luckiest girl around.

The PB is away... haven't heard from him in over a week.... LOVELY!!!!

On the other side, my pathetic sibling can't seem to get his shyt together. He is always trippin... always messin up... like, i can't figure out what the hell his problem is. I just think it's really sad that my entire family continues to stick up for him. Like, how do you feel sorry for someone that has to face the consequences of their actions...
